If you are planning a trip to the amenity site this weekend you are being asked to keep burnable waste to a minimum.
That's from Douglas Borough Council as the Energy from Waste Plant closes for "scheduled maintenance".
The site, which is the island's facility for disposing of combustible waste, will close today (Friday) until next Tuesday.
The closure will impact the capacity of all of the island's amenity sites to deal with household burnable waste.
The council has thanked island residents for their patience and understanding.
