Efforts underway to stop blight of dilapidated buildings

Private property owners are being praised for their efforts to tackle dilapidated buildings in Peel.

That's according to Peel Commissioners who say they're working together to improve the town:
 
 
It's part of extensive regeneration - particularly around Market Place - which is being funded by government's Town and Village Centre Regeneration Scheme. 
 
The commissioners say the spend has helped stimulate private sector investment - Derek Sewell is the town clerk:
