Fierce backlash over the scrapping of food stalls on Loch Promenade during TT has come as a surprise to government.
That's according to the Economic Development Minister who says when this decision was taken last year no-one lodged any complaints.
Once again there will be no stunt show on Harris Promenade therefore permits for nearby catering stands will not be issued - the department claims this will save the taxpayer £200,000.
However Laurence Skelly has promised to review the decision going forward saying he believes Manx food should be being promoted:
