New Justice Secretary Ken Clarke Has Good Relationship With Island
The Economic Development Minister Alan Bell has been giving his thoughts to 3FM in response to the first appointments made by new UK Prime Minister David Cameron.
He says by far the most significant appointment from the Island's perspective is that of Ken Clarke as Justice Secretary.
Ken is a known supporter of the Island and regulary spends holidays over here.
The Justice Department is the Isle of Man's main constitutional link to the UK and having someone in charge who understands the way the Island works is extremely positive news says Mr Bell.
