The Eastern Area Plan inquiry report has been published today.
The report - which was compiled by independent inspector Mike Hurley, was released by the Cabinet Office this morning.
It comes following an inquiry into the plan where members of the public were invited to make their views known on proposals for land use across the most populated part of the Island.
The document could have a significant impact of the built landscape in the Manx countryside.
Mr Hurley has made a series recommendations on both the strategic and site specific implications of the government's plan to zone land in the East.
