An earthquake in the UK was picked up by monitoring equipment in Kirk Michael just before 11.30pm on Wednesday, December 3.
The epicentre was around three kilometres below Silverdale in Lancashire.
The magnitude 3.3 quake was felt across much of the UK's northwest as well as in the Isle of Man - where it was registered by the British Geological Survey.
