Laxey's best-known resident has returned home, none the worse for a fireworks ordeal.
Earl the Laxey Cat, who greets tourists and locals in the village and has his own Facebook page, went missing at the weekend during his wanders.
His owner Sharna Keig was worried he'd be frightened by fireworks being let off, and one Facebook comment suggested he'd run off after hearing one.
However, Sharna says he's now back home and seems unfazed by his ordeal.
