Dusty on holiday at UK cattery

A cheeky hitchhiker will be spending the week in the UK after jumping into a van and travelling hundreds of miles.

Dusty the Cat, who has her own Facebook page and is well-known for visiting Noble's Hospital, jumped into a van and ended up in Cornwall after its driver didn't realise she was there.

She's now in a cattery for a week while her owners prepare to collect her - with help from the Steam Packet Company, which has offered free travel to bring her back to the Island after an online fundraiser to return her smashed its target.

Dusty is said to be healthy, happy and safe despite her unexpected journey.
