Drug helpline issues reminder of its services

The recently published Lancet report into drug patterns worldwide has estimated that one in 20 people are using drugs each year.

The number of drug users between 15 and 64 stands at 200 million, with drug use higher in developed countries.

Speaking to drugs advisory service and helpline, DASH, it's clear that there are still many significant drug-related issues affecting the Isle of Man.

Although it's very difficult to estimate the extent of the problem, Shelley Stanley of DASH has said their service are mainly helping cannabis and cocaine users (see audio).
