The government's to hold a special drop-in session for people on benefits or pensions who don't have bank accounts.
This week, Tynwald voted to put back scrapping the MiCard payment system and replacing it with electronic money transfers after concerns more than 750 people wouldn't be able to receive entitlements.
Now the Treasury says its social security team will hold a session at Markwell House on Market Street in Douglas from 9.30am until 12.30pm on Wednesday, November 26.
HSBC, Lloyds Bank International, Barclays Bank and Isle of Man Bank will help people open accounts - you'll need to take photo ID, proof of address and your National Insurance or tax reference number.
