The Island's police are reminding drivers to check their vehicles as the days get shorter.
Before the dark nights are fully upon us, the Roads Policing Unit ask that road users make sure their headlights and brake lights are working correctly.
Tyre tread should also be legal, and wiper blades should be in good working order.
Drivers are also urged to be prepared for changing weather conditions.
