Drivers are being reminded of the 40mph speed limits between Ballacraine and Ramsey after reports of signs being ignored.
The Department of Infrastructure says it's heard some drivers are travelling through work sites at speed, putting people at risk.
It adds as well as temporary speed limit signs, there are the usual warning signs at individual sites that works are in progress.
Motorists are asked to slow down and 'show consideration for those working on the road.'
