A Ramsey man who failed to take a breathalyser test during race week has been banned from the roads.
James Charles William Milner of The Vollan was arrested on June 5 after police saw his Toyota Yaris weaving slowly around the road in Maughold.
The 25-year-old claimed he'd tried to give a sample at police headquarters, but couldn't.
Milner admitted the offence and magistrates fined him £1,000 as well as ordering him to pay £125 costs.
He was also banned from driving for five years.
