The Department of Infrastructure is asking drivers to exercise caution today amid downpours.
A yellow weather warning about possible flooding is in place until 9pm this evening.
On Facebook, the DOI says its workers are tackling reports of flooding and standing water around the Island.
And it's asking motorists to drive to the conditions - adding the Mountain Road is open, but visibility and road conditions are poor.
