A chef drunkenly crashed his boss's car and drove off, a court's heard.
32 year old Anthony McCabe of Central Promenade in Douglas admitted drink-driving and failing to stop when he appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Rachael Braidwood.
The hearing was told he lost control at Royal Avenue in Onchan on October 29 last year, and hit a parked van.
He drove off but police later traced a licence plate left at the scene, and he was more than twice the legal limit when breath-tested.
McCabe was fined £2,200 and banned for three years.
