Part of the Mountain Road will close for a second time today later.
The Department of Infrastructure says the route, which is closed each day this week for work, will reopen at 5pm.
But the section between Creg Ny Baa and the Beinn Y Phott Road at Brandywell will shut again at 6.30pm until no later than 9pm.
The DOI says it needs the extra closure to finish off drainage work.
