Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood says the Island's had an extra 21 salt bins to deal with freezing weather over the winter.
She faced a question for written reply from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse about extra bins provided for residents.
In her response, Dr Haywood said in total 21 more salt bins had been provided this winter to deal with ice.
She added all are checked annually with extra inspections before and after freezing weather or when residents report they're empty.
