More than 50 electric car owners gathered in Douglas at the weekend for a meetup event.
Douglas Councillor Frank Schuengel organised the meeting, which took place at the Manx Utilities headquarters, and gave EV owners and anyone interested in them a chance to get together.
Mr Scheungel says to see such a fantastic turnout for an event that started as an idea on social media shows that interest in alternative fuel vehicles is on the rise.
It's hoped this is the start of a new series of regular events as the community grows, with the next event planned for summer, with details to be announced nearer the time.
