Santa is setting up his grotto in Strand Street this evening as the Christmas lights in the capital are officially switched on.
The whole town centre is going fully festive, with music, entertainment and a Winter Wonderland forming part of what’s being called The Greatest Christmas Show.
Douglas Mayor John Joughin will turn the lights on at 7pm from a secret location.
