A business has been given Douglas Council's blessing to start renting kayaks and paddleboards in the capital's beach.
Point 65, the parent company of Kayakomat, will lease a rental station on Queen's promenade.
Kayakomat provides self-service rentings across Europe, and wants to rent out a mix of paddleboards and kayaks through a dedicated app.
The council's regeneration and community committee agreed to sign up the business for three years at £500 plus VAT per year.
