Work on the Douglas Promenade refurbishment is due to resume in full today.
It comes after Infrastructure Minister, Ray Harmer MHK, confirmed last week efforts on the initiative would begin in earnest from Monday.
The DOI has re-looked at the scheme due to the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic and will slightly change the plan with the aim of finishing it in Easter 2021.
Mr Harmer also stated last week the project is still expected to be delivered within the £25million budget and that the design of it will be the same as originally planned.
