A one-way system on Douglas Promenade will come into force next week.
It'll be in place from Victoria Street through to Summerhill from Monday, June 15, with officials asking motorists to allow extra time for journeys through there as traffic management is being set up on that day.
If travelling via King Edward Road, access will be available at the bottom of Summerhill to head towards Onchan.
The system being brought in was announced last week as part of changes to the whole refurbishment scheme aiming to get the highways on the stretch finished by March 2021.
