A Douglas man will appear in court today after attacking somebody in Douglas.
At around midday on Sunday, it's alleged that the 36 year old pulled up to a pedestrian in his silver van on Ballanard Road, got out of the vehicle and started gripping the person.
The pedestrian managed to run free down Port e Chee avenue.
The Douglas man was later arrested and will appear before the Deputy High Bailiff today.
