Douglas man dies after dementia-related fall

Douglas Courthouse

The inquest into the death of a Douglas man has found he died after a fall.

74-year-old Paul Brumstrom was pronounced dead at Noble's Hospital on February 26th.

He'd suffered an intracranial haemorrhage following the fall which is believed to have been related to his dementia.

At Douglas Courthouse yesterday the Coroner of Inquests passed his condolences to Mr Brumstrom's family - his body has been released so funeral arrangements can be made.

The inquest has been adjourned to a date to be fixed.
