A man who assaulted a doorman at a Douglas nightclub was serving a suspended jail sentence for attacking another doorman in June.
Aaron Lee Kelly of Greeba Road in Douglas appeared before magistrates at Douglas Courthouse.
The 41-year-old admitted assaulting the member of door staff at 1886 Bar and Grill on Regent Street in Douglas on August 27.
The court heard Kelly had been ejected from the venue for being drunk and falling asleep at the bar, but outside he got involved as staff escorted another man out.
Prosecutor Hazel Carroon told the hearing Kelly grabbed the bouncer by the neck from behind and pulled him to the floor before running off.
Magistrates bailed him in the sum of £500 and asked for probation reports to be prepared before Kelly appears again for sentencing on December 13.
