The lifeboat in Douglas was launched last night to help police looking for a missing person,
The crew began a shoreline search around Douglas Head and Marine Drive (between Port Skillion and the Pigeon Stream) at around 20:20.
It was called off after about 30 minutes, when police found the person safe and well.
