Douglas Borough Council has installed new stations around the Island capital dispensing dog waste bags in its bid to create cleaner areas.
They've been placed at twelve locations across the town - identified as 'dog fouling hot spots' - following reports from the councils borough warden team and alerts from members of the public.
These include areas such as the Strathallan Crescent end of Douglas Promenade, two in Nobles Park and two on North Quay.
The councils Environmental Services Committee Chairman, Ritchie McNicholl, says clean public spaces are critical in creating a good impression, and this move reiterates the message to dog owners to "bag it and bin it".
The project has been funded by local sponsorship.
