Douglas Council says it hopes to have finished the refurbishment of the sunken garden walls by Christmas.
It comes after Storm Barra destroyed large parts of the sea front in 2021.
Working in partnership with the Department of Infrastructure, the council will be focussing on the refurbishment of the walls and the play area.
There is also the potential for a multi sensory garden, improvements to the area surrounding the war memorial and new seating by the Jubilee Kiosk.
Displays of the plans can be viewed at the Sea Terminal and Douglas Town Hall.
Council Leader Claire Wells says given the current economic climate the plans 'will take time':
