Douglas Council says it's 'trying to do what's best' for its residents with the introduction of the fortnightly bin collection service.
The statement was made by Council Leader Claire Wells at a public meeting last night.
However, residents were largely unhappy with the new service - one person in the audience asked 'where are the reviews?'
In response, Councillor Falk Horning, said they would start publishing reviews and surveys redacting any information that breaches GDPR laws.
There were also questions raised in regards to an increase in rodents in bin storage areas, to which Claire Wells said there has been no increase in reports to Environmental Health.
