Plastic bottle collections will start up again in Douglas and Braddan from tomorrow.
It's the latest in a staged return of kerbside service in the capital after collections for glass bottles and cans resumed on May 18, before Douglas Borough Council then brought back paper recycling on June 22.
Officials are asking residents in both areas to put any plastic bottles in the same box as metal cans, whilst paper and glass bottles such be put into their own separate containers.
The council says extra kerbside boxes are in limited supply, and if you need one in Douglas to e-mail refuse@douglas.gov.im or ring 696 445.
Residents in Braddan should get in touch on braddan@braddan.im or over the phone on 852 808.
