Two yellow weather warnings are in place today as Storm Jorge is set to hit the Island.
The first for gale force winds and coastal overtopping is in force until 4am tomorrow - gusts of up to 75mph could be expected which could lead to some minor structural damage and travel disruption.
Meanwhile, Ronaldsway Met Office is also issuing a notice for snow and ice until 1pm this afternoon which is most likely to affect roads above 1200 feet during this morning.
Forecasters say despite strong winds, road temperatures are expected to fall close to or slightly below freezing overnight and any untreated roads which have seen rainfall could be at risk of ice forming on them in the early hours.
