Police have issued a stark warning to those who use their phone behind the wheel.
Officers say - in between calls for service - they'll actively be trying to detect any motorists on their mobile while driving.
The constabulary says while on patrol they often see and deal with people using their phones whilst driving, which they describe as a 'indictment to how distracted a driver may become, not even noticing a marked police vehicle.'
They ask people to respect others and to only use your phone once you have arrived at your destination.
