The Department of Infrastructure's Road Safety Team and Roads Policing Unit have launched their summer anti drink drive campaign.
The campaign highlights the difficulty of calculating alcohol units you have consumed and determining the effect it can have on your system.
Things like a persons size, weight and metabolism can impact the effect alcohol will have on your abilities.
The general message is to not risk it and remain totally sober if you will later be driving.
Director of Highways, Richard Pearson has this message:
