Island firefighters are urging residents not to burn any waste they have.
The fire and rescue service has sent out the message with more people now spending more time at home, and says to consider storing any refuse or, if possible, composting it.
Crews also warn they must consider the effect excess smoke could have around Coronavirus which can impact the respiratory system.
Already, DEFA and other landowners have agreed to stop any heath burning.
