Police are asking people not to label youngsters as 'trouble makers'.
It comes following a spate of petty crime - which recently has been by young people.
However, in a post on social media authorities are urging the public not to brand all youths with the same brush.
They say "A very small number of young people do anti-social things some of the time, but most of the young people we meet are a credit to themselves and the community."
