A civic amenity site says it's donated more than 300 pairs of glasses to a charity.
The Southern Civic Amenity Site says it recycles specs which are dropped off at the site.
Last week it donated 12.25 kilograms of unwanted glasses to a charity which gives them to those in need in the UK and elsewhere.
On Facebook, it says if you have old pairs hanging around at home, you can drop them off at the site on Castletown Road in Port St Mary.
