The Department of Infrastructure says it'll review the vehicle check-in system at Douglas Sea Terminal for busy sailings.
It took to social media after large amounts of traffic congestion in and around the area yesterday.
Officials say it was due to a delayed arrival in the morning and cancellations caused by poor weather conditions on Wednesday
In the post it department says it'll work with the Steam Packet Company to look into the matter.
