Staff could be manually controlling the temporary traffic lights on the Peel to Douglas Road during this evening's commuter run.
That's according to the Department of Infrastructure, to 'ensure traffic flow is the best it can be.'
The lights are in place at the Greeba side of Crosby due to repair work taking place on the carriageway, reducing the road to one lane.
Staff are expected to be at the site this evening and again tomorrow morning if needed.
