The Department of Infrastructure says it's paid more than £81,000 to dredge Douglas harbour since 2023.
A Freedom of Information request asked how much money had been spent on the work - the DOI said in 2023 it spent more than £11,000 on the inner harbour and marina.
But so far this year, it's spent just under £70,000 dredging the outer harbour in March.
It's after the Manxman ran aground on mud in the harbour earlier this year.
