The Department of Infrastructure says it's restoring a TT course landmark to its former glory.
As part of an ongoing maintenance programme, the department has removed the milestone at the 11th Milestone, otherwise known as Drinkwater's.
The cast iron milestone, which dates to the 1860s, had broken and needed repairing.
The department says it'll fix the fractures and give the milestone a new coat of paint before it's put back in its rightful place.
