The Department of Infrastructure has issued a reminder as people have been ignoring the closure on the Heritage Trail.
The path is closed between Glen Vine and Union Mills for maintenance works and is barriered at either end.
People have apparently been ignoring barriers and carrying along the path before being turned back by the DOI.
The department is reminding people that the route is also impassable outside of working hours.
