The Department of Infrastructure says it doesn't have any safety concerns about a junction near a proposed new Iceland store in Braddan.
Agrimark and Ballapaddag had objected to the plans for a Food Warehouse outlet on the Spring Valley Trading Estate Road, citing safety concerns about its junction with Cooil Road.
However, the DOI says it looked at safety data and the proposals pose no significant road safety or highway efficiency worries.
But it did recommend minor alterations to parking for disabled people and staff at the proposed site.
