Infrastructure Minister Michelle Haywood says her department doesn't track how much money is brought in from parking fines.
She faced a question for written answer from Douglas North MHK John Wannenburgh about het number of traffic wardens and the amount of money collected from tickets.
In her response, Dr Haywood said the DOI has five full-time and one part-time parking controllers.
But she said the General Registry collects the outstanding money and so her department doesn't have the figures requested.
