DoI consulting on public sector accommodation for older people

There's just under a fortnight left to have your say on how public sector accommodation is allocated for older people.

The Department of Infrastructure has proposed changes to the assessment criteria that will govern a person's eligibility for a home.

Allocation would be based on the income, assets, health and well-being of the individual.

Government says it all forms part of the national priority of protecting vulnerable members of the community.
