The Department of Infrastructure is currently considering options to develop Crossag Farm in Ballasalla.
That's according to Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall, who faced questions in Tynwald from Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse.
The site was earmarked for housing under an area plan, and proposals for a new school were mooted should the scheme go ahead.
Mr Crookall gave an update on where things stand:
