Budget cuts mean work on a popular footpath in Foxdale won't now take place.
Patrick Commissioners discussed issues with drainage along the Foxdale Railway Line path at their last meeting.
They'd previously raised the issue with former Infrastructure Minister Tim Crookall MHK in September but hadn't heard anything from his department since then.
However, the meeting heard the department now said the work was unlikely to take place because of budget cuts.
