Bus Vannin has introduced new restrictions on children's travel cards.
The school bus cards for primary school children and secondary school students used to allow travel up until 6pm to let youngsters take part in after-school activities.
But the Department of Infrastructure says they won't now be able to be used after 5pm from November 4.
It says schools are now closing earlier, so kids will have to pay half-fare after 5.
