A woman in the west of the Island has hit out after a loose dog killed one of her birds.
Julia Diggines of Kirk Michael issued a plea on a local Facebook group after a dog walker let their brown spaniel off the lead near her chickens.
She says it's not the first time people walking along the railway line path have let their dogs attack her poultry.
And she's asking people to keep dogs on a lead if they can't control them.
