Dog attack in Douglas

Police are appealing for witnesses after a dog attack in Douglas last night. 

It happened in the area of Central Promenade and Castlemona Avenue at around 9pm. 
 
The black and white 'Staffie type' dog - which wasn't on a lead - ran up to another canine and attacked; no injuries were caused. 
 
Officers want to speak to its owner who's described as a white man in his 30s - he was wearing a black hat and blue and white striped top.
