It comes as the UK government launched a voluntary scheme for parents to record and receive certified recognition of a loss under 24 weeks.
Health Minister Lawrie Hooper says Manx Care's Lead Midwife for Bereavement Care has met with a local charity that supports families to get their feedback and expectations.
A further meeting will now take place with registrars to look at the possibility of introducing a similar scheme for Isle of Man residents.
